Electric longboards made by WowGo are generally considered the best there is, in their price range. The new WowGo 3X model is building upon the successful WowGo 3 electric longboard, but uses a different drive system: so-called belt drive. If we look at the technical specifications, such as range or max speed, WowGo 3X beats even such brands as Boosted Boards in all aspects.

WowGo 3X electric longboard differs from WowGo 3 in several critical aspects.

✓ New drive system WowGo 3X is a modified version of the WowGo 3 model. Whilst WowGo3 is powered using HUB motors, WowGo 3X uses a belt drive. That means the 2 motors mounted outside of the wheels transfer their power to the wheels using 2 belts and a set of pulleys. This type of drive has some advantages over HUB motors, such as a more comfortable ride, higher torque and acceleration, and the ability to exchange different type of wheels. The wheels have dimensions of 90x62mm and 78A hardness. They feature a so-called offset design, which gives them improved grip and ride quality. 

✓ Bigger battery Another new and exciting feature of WowGo 3X is a different type of battery. While it keeps the same cells, they are now in a 12S2P configuration, as opposed to 10S2P configuration in the WowGo 3, which results in a higher capacity. It also has a higher voltage of 43.2 V versus 36 V. That means that while the base WowGo 3 battery offers 180 Wh and a range of 18 km, the battery used in Wowgo 3X offers 216 Wh and a 20 km maximum range.

✓ Upgraded motors Another difference is obviously the motors. WowGo 3X uses 2 motors with a combined power of 1200 W, compared to 500 W on it's 'regular' counterpart. Thanks to these motors, this model is able to produce an unprecedented amount of acceleration and torque, allowing you to climb hills up to a 30% angle. The motors power the wheels using 5M255 belts by Gates or Continental.

✓ Customized ESC One of the upgrades is a new customized version of the popular Hobbywing ESC (electronic speed controller). This ESC called Hobbywing V2 is specifically modified for belt drive, by operating on higher voltage, modified software for a smoother ride, and more. Thanks to this ESC, WowGo 3X has a top speed of 39 km/h and it also keeps the 'Turbo' riding modes, same as WowGo 3. The rider can also choose from additional 3 riding modes, ranging from beginner to professional.

✓ LED controller The speed and acceleration are controlled by a remote controller that is ranked among the absolute top of the market, due to its smoothness. On top of that, the version supplied with WowGo 3X includes an LED display that shows you important information. The upgraded remote controller with built-in LED display presents you with all the information you need for a perfect ride, such as your speed, distance of your current trip, the lifetime distance traveled on your board, battery status of the board as well as the remote itself, and more.

✓ High-quality build and design The well-proven deck is made using a combination of bamboo and fiberglass, which makes the whole longboard extremely flexy, yet strong. The enclosures for ESC and battery are made from highly durable plastic to reduce weight. They are also smaller, compared to previous generations for a more aesthetic look. We offer this electric longboard in 2 different color options. If you like a more natural look, the WowGo 3 Orange with its bamboo finish is the right fit. But if you prefer a more modern look and the combination of black and orange, WowGo 3 Black is perfect for you.

✓ New custom trucks Another feature where the WowGo 3X model shines is the trucks and motor mounts. While the front wheels are mounted using the legendary Paris V2 trucks, the back wheels and motors are mounted with a custom developed truck, proprietary to WowGo. These features make this longboard extremely stable at a higher speed while keeping the ability to do tight turns safely.
