Due to the easily tamed power, it is up to your choice whether you will ride the AM1000 in a “dirt-bike motorcycle” mode or as a normal bike that just helps you a bit when you need it.

✓ Motor The FREY AM1000 electric bicycle uses a Bafang G510 mid-drive motor with a nominal power of 1000W. But if you need a bit more power, it can provide a peak power of 1500 W and 160 Nm of torque. To make sure the motor responds to your needs immediately, there are a plethora of built-in sensors, monitoring the speed and force of pedaling. The motor is IP65 rated, so no need to worry about the occasional puddle or rain.

✓ Battery and electronics This powerful e-bike is powered by a 1008 Wh battery, composed of 78 original Samsung 35E cells. Based on your riding style, it can deliver enough power to last you for up to a 120km long trip. If you ever need to top-up, the charge time from 0% to 100% is about 4 hours. The battery also powers a big Bafang color display, that allows you to set different riding modes, see a dashboard with your ride statistics (such as trip duration, speed, etc.) and you can also change the setting of the display and the whole bike there. To secure your ebike, there is also an option to set up a password for your controller which prevents everyone from easily setting off on your precious bike.

✓ Suspension For you to be able to ride even through the harshest terrain, the FREY AM1000 electric bike is equipped with the original RockShox Yari RC Boost front fork, which has been developed especially for extreme enduro rides on electric bicycles. This fork has a wide range of individual settings and allows up to a 160mm of travel. Also, to provide the maximum comfort to your back, the seat is supported by the  RockShox Deluxe RL rear shock absorber. 

✓ Brakes and transmission Your safety and the maximum brake power is guaranteed by the Magura MT5e hydraulic brakes with 4 pistons, and 203mm front and rear discs. The transmission is taken care of by the Shimano Deore XT M8000, so you never have to worry about stalling out.
